Reunion Tours
"Your ReUnion Committee composed of LaVonne and Win Donat and Barbara and Frank Burgess Have selected several great sites for tours, such as the NORFOLK NAVAL MUSEUM-known as NAUTICUS _ which includes the USS Wisconsin (with our Memorial Service on the aft deck of the Wisconsin): a boat cruise of the Norfolk Waterfront: a bus tour of the Norfolk Naval Base (NOB); treats at Doumar's Icecream Factory; and the General Douglas MacArthur Museum - where the General and his wife are laid to rest."
If you want to venture outside the City of Norfolk, there are the Newport News Naval Museum; Yorktown National Historical Park (final victory of the Revolutionary War); Jamestown (first settlement in Virginia). The committee urges you to arrive a few days early and visit the sights of the area. To help you tour on-your-own our hotel has guarenteed our room rates for three days prior and three days following the ReUnion.
